E. Rabago Guitars of Iligan City: Glitter Down South

via Daily Prompt: Glitter

There’s a ton of Guitars out there… but not all will fit you unlike a Custom-made guitar that’s made just for you.

And in your search for the one guitar, if you be lucky, if it leads you to the one luthier that’s just near you, it is like a dream come true.

At first, you know, at the back of your mind, the question hangs…

Is he really that good?

Is he really the one that can make you “The One?”

So… you pay a lot of visits to that Luthier’s Shop to find out.

Guitars may come in different sizes, shapes and colors and the degree to which one Luthier is capable of making sometimes play a big role in ones “judging.”

Well, in the course of ones visits a long time ago, one sight caught really left one in awe.

A nearly finished “Butterfly” shape Custom-made Acoustic Guitar in E. Rabago Guitar’s I saw!

Wow! This is really one of a kind, It’s not an everyday find!

And to think one luthier is capable of making this, he is surely one of the best there is!

How’d I really wanted to take pictures of it… but cellphones with camera’s weren’t around yet and I wasn’t able to bring any type of film camera to take pictures of it.

Lucky to get a picture of this one of a kind Custom-made Acoustic Guitar by E. Rabago Guitars today (Photo Courtesy of S.O.S.)

Such a “unique” acoustic guitar I’ve seen made so far, left me thinking, he might be the best guitar maker and luthier by far?

Some time passed and the guitar’s owner traveled, I just wondered where the guitar I marveled ended.

I never knew my search for that very unique, one of a kind, Custom-made Acoustic guitar that I saw a long time ago ended today.

I finally found it, thanks to a very reliable source I say!

So a few guitar’s I had were built and repaired for I finally found that Master Luthier!

Oh, how I’d really admire and look up to someone who is not only a great luthier but seems to be one of the world’s best custom guitar maker.

To top it all, our story doesn’t end here or there!

Lately, our Master luthier has done it again!

And it’s not about that Semi-Acoustic Guitar he made way back then…

But he was able to recently build an 8-String Classical Guitar for Sir Joemark Mocorro, an accomplished musician and classical guitar virtuoso.

Check out this video clip from Sir Joemark Mocorro playing his Custom-made 8-Strings Classical Guitar by E. Rabago Guitars. Playing 6 Strings to 8 Strings transition instantly (since he first got the guitar), this one’s played spontaneously out of muscle memory, his own rendition.

sometimes a maze is just like a string

sometimes a maze is just like a string

The one hand rule is the simplest trick in escaping from any maze, a guarantee for getting out.

It works because sometimes a maze is just like a string, if you follow it you can get out.

However, there’s an exception…

Like a maze that sometimes have walls that are disconnected from the rest of them all.

Life sometimes have its other walls, it can get complicated, it has its pitfalls.

See, using a little logic may help you out in most cases but a higher form of algorithm is applied for some mazes.

Being able to translate it, we can move from one place to another and get out of it.

Life is like a Maze sometimes, it has its twists and turns and dead ends lie beyond some of its turns.

If we can keep track of where we’ve been even if we get lost we can still find our way back in.

If deep within ourselves we have faith, it makes it easier for us to translate.

We can get out of life’s mazes sometimes with just one hand and using no maps or getting no helping hand.

Translate: “Sometimes in life we all need a helping hand but sometimes ‘success’ lies within our own hand. If you believe you can do it then there’s a chance you can make it.”

Seriousness? Why So Serious?

"The best things in life aren't things... but 'Family'"

Seriousness? Why So Serious?

Sometimes in life we are confronted by that “serious” question.

Each time we do, we take time to do a great deal of contemplation

Reflection, meditation, cogitation, i.e., serious thought or consideration

In every stage we come to reach or pass sometimes we ask

Our ambitions, objectives and goals have we reach at last?

Unachieved or the other way around there’s always a story

Sometimes unpredictable things happen… a part of the journey

Not what we wanted… but sometimes others are just quick to say… hastily

Easily putting certain things above others… some rush to judge eagerly

Sometimes things they say overshadow friendship, relationships and family yet they don’t know

So let’s ponder on one quote, “The best things in life aren’t things… but ‘Family!'” they should know

“The best things in life aren’t things… but ‘Family'”

“So why so serious all the time?”

“Loosen up from time to time.”
